Turning off tooltip

Aug 22, 2011 at 1:55 PM

Hi,

If you move the mousepointer over a cell (in a grid), a tooltip popups with the contents of that cell.

Is there a way to turn the tooltip off (maybe at cell level) ?

Kind regards,

Sorry for the late response.

Currently there's no strongly-typed wrapper for this, but it can be acheived using the CustomAttributes method of the Column model:

Html.Grid(new GridControl()
        .SetName("grid")
        .SetPageSize(15)
        .SetIsAutoSize(true)
        .SetListUrl("/Search/List" + Html.BuildQuery(ViewData["SearchParams"], "searchP"))
        .SetHeight("200")
        .SetColumns<MVC.Controls.Examples.Models.Store>(cs=>
            {
                cs.Add(x => x.StoreId).SetAsPrimaryKey().SetCustomAttributes("title:false");
                cs.Add(x => x.Name).SetCustomAttributes("title:false");
                cs.Add(x => x.Address);
            }))
